As a young girl in San Diego, she fell under the spell of Wicked when its national tour swept through her hometown. Now, Trimm is paying it forward. During the height of COVID restrictions, when backstage tours were off-limits, she crafted pink flower barrettes for young fans at the stage door. ‘It’s my way of honoring the experience I had as a kid,’ she said. ‘To keep that cycle of inspiration moving.’
