Attention all adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts! We've got a game-changer for your game reserve, and it's called the Ineos Grenadier Game Viewer. This 4x4 vehicle is the ultimate safari companion, offering an unparalleled experience that will leave you in awe.
Imagine leaving the hustle and bustle of city life behind and embarking on a journey to create your own luxurious retreat amidst the beauty of a game reserve. Well, the Ineos Grenadier is here to enhance that dream, providing an exceptional safari experience that money can't buy.
You might recall the concept unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed a year ago, and now, it's become a reality. The British manufacturer, with a little assistance from Botswana's conversion specialists, Kavango, has brought this vision to life.
Back in 2020, Kavango showcased their expertise by transforming a production prototype into a safari-ready Grenadier. It featured a lightweight canvas top, a foldable windscreen, tiered seating, and an elevated ride height, all designed to navigate the African wilderness with ease. Ineos was so impressed that they acquired the business in 2023, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, Ineos ships partially built Grenadiers from their French manufacturing plant to Botswana. These vehicles arrive without paint, tailgates, passenger seating, side glazing, roof panels, trims, or unnecessary electrical features, providing a blank canvas for customization.
Buyers can personalize their Game Viewers to their heart's desire, choosing roof designs, seating arrangements for up to nine people, and overall layouts. However, we must caution against the brave souls who opt to sit on the front bonnet seat when lions are nearby!
Hiddn Lodge, a luxury retreat in South Africa, has already taken the plunge, ordering four Game Viewers that will roam the wilderness starting next month. So, if you find yourself in the area, keep an eye out for these impressive machines.
Lynn Calder, CEO of Ineos, shared their excitement, stating, "This marks the full circle of the Grenadier's journey. Sir Jim Ratcliffe's inspiration for a modern and robust 4x4 originated during a safari in Botswana almost a decade ago. That deep connection with Africa influenced the Goodwood concept and the final production design."
The teams at Hambach and Ineos Kavango have collaborated for the past 18 months to transform the Game Viewer concept into a full production model, and they can't wait to see it in action.
